Getting Started
WELCOME TO FIRSTMAGIC 4.0
FirstMagic offers an intuitive way to create websites, blogs, media channels, calendars, digital signs, galleries - even standalone sub-websites - with just a few mouseclicks. It is easy and fun, and no experience with web publishing is necessary.

To get started, sign into the site with your Username and Password.

Sign In to your website
Click the bottom left corner of any page on your site to sign in (the hotspot is invisible but clickable - exactly where the little green circle on this page is). After signing in, if you own a page, you have a File Manager and a suite of Editing Tools on it. You can edit any page where the File Manager exists.

The Account Panel
To sign out from the site again, click your Account Panel [the little widget with your Username on it at the bottom right of all pages], then the Sign Out button.

The Account Panel reflects your role on the website: the Site Owner has Site Setup and Theme Designer tools here. The very first button in this panel will always be the most likely action to perform on the current page [for example, it will say New Blog post in a blog]. Otherwise, the Account Panel is like a mini-version of your Dashboard.

The Dashboard
The Dashboard is your personal Homepage: it displays everything you are subscribed to. Site Owners also has the Inbox and eCommerce Inventory here.

To add a subscription, hover the mouse over your Account Panel, and click the plus sign that appears. A shortcut to where you are will be added to your Dashboard and Account Panel. Any Layout / directory on the site can be subscribed to. ThereĀ“s no plus sign if you already is a subscriber.

Your personal Profile
Click the Profile link on the Dashboard to set up, review, and publish your personal profile.

The profile can be used as a Byline in blogs and other media you choose to create on the site.
